Authors would like to introduce the paper in which they review and compare key features of modern methods of seismic inversion. In the first part of the paper a common statement of the inverse dynamic problem is given and the most widespread inversion techniques are analyzed such as sparse spike inversion both of full fold seismic data and of partial angle stacks, and genetic inversion based upon neural networks algorithms. Special attention is paid to a study of advantages, drawbacks and feasibility of various approaches to the solution of the inversion problem as well as to issues of source data preparation and quality control.
Многомерный анализ сейсмограмм общей точки изображения
A new approach for residual moveout correction is considered. It is based on simultaneous analysis of several common image gathers and approximation of residual moveouts by supersurface. The approach allows to get stable moveout parameter estimation without using any smoothing operators, which could distort results of migration velocity analysis dramatically. Comparison between moveout parameters obtained by the multidimensional approach and parameters obtained by using several popular industrial techniques is presented.

Vibroseis whitening (VSW), or simply time-variant scaling before correlation of the vibroseis records with the sweep signal, as well as weighted vibroseis correlation (WVC) were well known from the beginning of 1980ies. It was shown that these procedures compensate high-frequency attenuation of the signal as well as ensure better continuity of shallow and deep reflections, significantly suppress regular noise (including ground roll), and improve the signal-to-noise ratio. Our modelling studies show that despite of the inherent nonlinearity of AGC, VSW is applicable in case of relative amplitude processing and AVO analysis, since the amplitude distortions induced by this procedure are usually much smaller than the accuracy of the amplitude interpretation of real vibrator data. In this article we discuss the efficiency of multi-wave (PP-PS) seismic monitoring in case on thermally enhanced oil recovery projects (SAGD technology) with specific reference to the Yaregskoye field. Based on modeling, we estimate the possible accuracy of subsurface structure reconstruction using PP and PS waves. We determine the variation range of rock physical properties under thermo-vapor impact. We examine the effect of thermo-vapor processes on the PP and PS amplitude and travel-time attributes.

Most physically proved and geological effective is complexation of a seismic and gravity. First of all it is predetermined by a generality of geological-physical model: the reflecting borders always are, at the same time, density, and the variations of density and seismic
waves and velocities are closely connected. The observed gravity and magnetic anomalous fields used for solution of any geological tasks. The results of using of modern techniques of gravity anomalous field interpretation for solution of complex geological tasks are described. The results of application of these techniques are submitted at regional researches in various parts of the European and Asian parts of Russia.
Relationship of density values of rocks and its composition with ore perspective is shown. Some recommendations of authors methods used for finding of ores deposits are given.
Прогнозирование геологических показателей по сейсмическим данным высокого разрешения
HRS-Geo technology possibilities are shown for integrated processing and interpretation of well logs and surface seismic data acquired in one of complex geology areas of the West Siberian petroliferous province. Predicted geologic and geophysical parameters are presented for a productive Jurassic oil-and-gasbearing section. The parameter values are obtained by using effective reflection coefficient sections and effective acoustic impedance sections which vertical resolution is equal to seismic sampling time interval. This allows locations (or areas) to be defined for optimal penetration by drilling of predicted oil-saturated prospects.

New post-sedimentation tectonic features of hydrocarbon accumulation in West Siberia region are suggested and under investigation in present paper. Their significant influence on reservoir evolution is shown. New seismic techniques of these features detection and application in geological modeling are developed.
Изучение структуры околоскважинного пространства комплексом модификаций метода ВСП в условиях Восточной Сибири
Spatial acquisition geometry which includes zero offset VSP, offset VSP, and moving source VSP (MS VSP) allows one to study the elastic parameters of the subsurface and near-borehole space structure for complex-constructed environments. It is shown that the use of MS VSP modification with taking into account the static shifts of records, determined with the help of optimization methods at different shot-points positions, makes it possible to substantially improve the quality of records for changeable conditions of upper part of subsurface specific for Siberia. Besides, the depth cross-sections provided by this modification are more extended compared to those found with the offset VSP.
Экологосберегающая технология сейсморазведки в труднодоступных районах
In clause the way of carrying out of seismic prospecting 3D in conditions of the remote district, based on use of small-sized transport technics and the chisel equipment is considered. The technology of the works is described, allowing to lead survey practically all-the-year-round without decrease geological and economic efficiency of researches. The technology excludes general deforestation, imminent at traditional ways of conducting seismic works and, despite of the most complex superficial conditions (a foothill relief, dence forest, presence of the open not freezing through bogs), allows to fulfil the areas 3D with the minimal deviations from a regular net.

The results of geological interpretation of 3D seismic investigations on developed field were considered. A high efficiency of present methodology for optimal installation of production wells was demonstrated. New field geological model, which is based on accurate location of gel-forming instability and more detailed disjunction of geological section, was proposed. Several recommendations by further exploitation of field were given.

This article highlights seismic acquisition challenges and how they are addressed in areas where traditional acquisition along straight lines cannot be employed because of complex terrain conditions, restrictions imposed by environmentalists, land owners etc.
Various acquisition geometries for complex terrain areas are considered, approaches to and methods of processing the data acquired with such acquisition systems are proposed. Total seismic exploration technology advanced 30 years ago is gaining significance especially in areas of East Siberia. Its deployment along the riverbeds of meandering rivers, deltaic branches, etc. will allow areal studies of new territories to be raised to a new level.
